The Opportunity:
- Review terms and conditions for all client contracts, and manage system and process workflows at all contract stages with heavy focus on healthcare and life science clients
- Serve as primary organizational point of contact during contract review and negotiations, while assuring accuracy and compliance
- Manage end-to-end process for contracts review, engaging cross-functional teams: review proposed modifications to contracts; draft and revise contract language to address various situations as they arise; oversee and conduct negotiations for proposals and contracts; obtain all required approvals for modifications; serve as the singular point of contact/resolution
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams during contract/template creation, contract review, acting as a key contact for the Legal department; provide guidance on commonly requested edits, non-standard terms, policies, questions, etc.
- Influence, inform, ideate, and collaboratively partner cross-functionally with SPS leaders and with key stakeholders internally/externally
- Independently handle complex issues, inquiries, and requests with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues
What You Bring:
- Bachelors degree, CPCM, CCCM, PMP and/or paralegal certifications preferred.
- 10+ years in contract administration, including contract negotiations with customers and vendors.
- Experience in the contract management lifecycle (reviewing and drafting), and integration of contracts negotiation/management databases into contracts lifestyle (e.g., IntelAgree).
- Led complex projects with cross-functional teams.
- Exemplified strong attention to detail and comfortable working cross-functionally.
- Commercially-focused ability to negotiate commercial, financial, and legal terms.
- Educated and provided advice on commercial customers contracts and vendor agreements.
- Initiated iterative process improvement approaches to improvements to contracts terms and process management.
- Managed multiple projects with urgent and shifting deadlines, effective prioritization and organization skills.
