VP of Compliance

Job Summary

​

We are seeking an experienced and strategic VP of Compliance to lead our compliance function and ensure the company is complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the financial services industry and a proven track record of building and leading high-performing compliance teams.

Key Responsibilities

​

• Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance program that meets the company's regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Provide guidance and support to employees on compliance-related matters
• Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and industry associations
• Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Manage the compliance department budget and allocate resources effectively
• Develop and implement effective risk assessment and risk management processes
• Ensure the company's compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards

Requirements

​

• 10+ years of experience in compliance, legal, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• Proven experience building and leading high-performing compliance teams
• In-depth knowledge of financial services industry regulations and laws, including Dodd-Frank Act, SOX, and GLBA
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
