WSN is seeking Regulatory Remediation – Project Management Specialists

to place in long-term consulting opportunities with our client, a tier one wholesale bank headquartered in New York City, committed to driving innovation and excellence in capital markets. 

Job Description:

You will lead projects focused on regulatory remediation related to Consent Orders, MRIAs, and MRAs. Leveraging your regulatory compliance expertise and project management skills, you will collaborate with stakeholders to achieve project objectives. Your responsibilities will include developing communication strategies, producing engaging presentations, and facilitating meetings to drive project progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead regulatory remediation programs or projects related to Consent Orders, MRIAs, and MRAs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create a communications strategy for informing project sponsors and C-Suite level executives of program or project progress, risks, issues, and decisions to be made.
  • Produce compelling and engaging PowerPoint presentations to effectively communicate project updates, risks, and decisions to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate working group and steering committee meetings, utilizing strong verbal communication skills to lead discussions and drive consensus among stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful remediation of regulatory issues.
  • Apply quality assurance concepts to validate remediation deliverables and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify root causes of regulatory issues and develop action plans to address deficiencies.
  • Utilize technical skills in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project), JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, and Data Analytics and Visualization tools (SQL, Python, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) to support project objectives.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders, providing recommendations for mitigation and resolution.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Legal Studies, or related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM, SAFe) preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in finance and banking with top tier commercial banks, investment banks and/or Big 4 consulting firms.
  • Deep experience in leading regulatory remediation programs or projects related to Consent Orders, MRIAs, and MRAs.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements and expectations.
  • Demonstrated experience leading project stakeholders from diverse functional areas.
  • Strong data analysis skills and experience, with proficiency in data analytics tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
