We are actively seeking Legal Operations professionals located anywhere in the United States with the following qualifications to join our team:  

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working within a corporate law or consulting department on projects and ongoing tasks related to legal technology implementations, spend management, budgeting, and operational metrics that aid you in understanding the needs of the in-house law department.  
  • Substantive time leading a similar role a plus.  
  • Experience designing and implementing documentation, reports, and related work throughout a project lifecycle and ensuring that assigned duties and responsibilities/project results are completed.  
  • Experience creating and managing a law department budget and RFP process.  
  • Ability to organize, think critically, strategically and tactically, meeting deadlines yet remaining flexible in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.  
  • Demonstrated abilities in operational excellence, to independently and collaboratively track and move projects forward while adapting to changing priorities.  
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills with internal collaborators, outside vendors, and other parties.  
  • Strong experience in researching, implementing and using legal department technology tools (or similar), such as records management and e-billing.  
  • Bachelor's degree required.  

Preferred Qualifications  

  • Experience designing and implementing a law firm convergence program, including structuring and managing an RFP process.  
  • Paralegal, legal management, or legal operational certificate from an accredited program a plus  
  • Graduate or Juris Doctorate degree a plus.  
  • PMP, CAPM, or other relevant project management certification(s) a plus.  

Support our clients with the following responsibilities:  

  • Drive and influence implementation of processes and technologies that enable operational efficiency on foundational matters like intake, contracting, task tracking, knowledge and records management, and other critical needs to run the business of the department (e.g., vendor/firm relationships, billing, change management, program management, etc.)  
  • Assist with the design, development, and testing of innovative products, services, and experiences required to advance the operations of an in-house law department.  
  • Develop and optimize tools for tracking team initiatives and goals.  
  • Identify measures of successful adoption, utilization, proficiency, and risk mitigation.  
  • Lead and support cross-functional projects and initiatives.
