Legal E-Billing Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Legal E-Billing Specialist to join our team.  The ideal candidate will have experience with e-billing systems and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  The Legal E-Billing Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining the e-billing process for our legal department, ensuring compliance with client guidelines and protocols.

Responsibilities

​

• Manage and maintain the e-billing process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with client guidelines and protocols
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including attorneys, paralegals, and other support staff to gather and review billing information
• Analyze and resolve billing discrepancies and errors
• Develop and maintain reports and analytics to track billing trends and identify opportunities for improvement
• Provide training and support to users on the e-billing system
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in e-billing

Qualifications

​

• 2+ years of experience in a law firm or legal department, preferably in an e-billing or billing-related role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Experience with e-billing systems, such as Passport, TyMetrix, or similar systems
