This full-time direct hire position offers a hybrid work environment after 60 days in office. You are welcome to work 2 days remote after the training period. The Litigation Legal Assistant will provide administrative assistance, including managing correspondence and calendars, editing legal documents, preparing e-filings, and ensuring deadlines are met. This role requires Oregon filing experience. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive company with professional development and training.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal and administrative support to attorneys
- Prepare pleadings and court filings for electronic filing in statewide courts
- Schedule and monitor attorney calendars and keep apprised of approaching deadlines
- Enter attorney’s time entries in billing software and manage client invoices
- Draft and proofread correspondences
- Proofread and edit documents and ensure deadlines are met
- Communicate with clients, vendors, and outside counsel
- Maintain client files
- Provide coverage for practice assistant team as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 3 years of legal administration support experience
- Oregon filing experience required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with law firm software preferred
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize matters
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Salary:
$75,000 - $90,000
