About the Role
The Executive Director, Regulatory Affairs will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of regulatory strategies to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and industry standards. This is a high-level strategic role that requires a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape and the ability to navigate complex issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement regulatory strategies to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and industry standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective implementation of regulatory strategies
- Provide regulatory guidance and support to business units and functions
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities and industry associations
- Stay up-to-date with changes to relevant laws, regulations and industry standards and advise the organization accordingly
- Develop and manage budgets for regulatory affairs department
- Hire, train and manage a team of regulatory affair professionals
Requirements
- Advanced degree in law, science or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in regulatory affairs, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations and industry standards
- Excellent communication, collaboration and project management skills
- Ability to navigate complex regulatory issues and develop effective strategies
- Strong leadership and management skills
