Job Summary

​

We are seeking a Director of Regulatory Compliance Operations to join our Compliance team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation and maintenance of our regulatory compliance program. The successful candidate will have a strong background in regulatory compliance, exceptional leadership skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

​

• Develop, implement and maintain a comprehensive regulatory compliance program to ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations and industry standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate regulatory risks
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Monitor and report on compliance with regulatory requirements
• Provide training and guidance to employees on regulatory compliance matters
• Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and industry trends
• Manage relationships with regulatory agencies and external auditors
• Coordinate and respond to regulatory examinations and audits

Requirements

​

• 8+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, with a focus on financial services or alternative assets
• Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including the Investment Advisers Act, the Investment Company Act, and AML regulations
• Proven experience in designing and implementing compliance programs
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required; advanced degree or certification (e.g. JD, CPA, CFA) preferred
