Contract/Legal Operations Manager

Yext is seeking an experienced Contract/Legal Operations Manager to join our Legal Department. This role will be responsible for managing the full contract lifecycle, implementing contract management best practices, and serving as the Department’s gatekeeper in key procurement functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract review and negotiation, and process optimization. Key Responsibilities
Contract Lifecycle Management
- Spearhead the implementation and ongoing management of a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system, increasing contract efficiency and turnaround time.
- Own and oversee the end-to-end contract process, from drafting to execution, to ensure full compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Manage and maintain standardized contract templates and processes to drive consistency and mitigate contractual risks.
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Serve as the first point of contact between the Legal Department and the procurement function, including reviewing, and assisting with negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers.
- Ensure procurement contracts align with the company’s legal, financial, and operational requirements.
Legal Operations and Support
- Draft, review, and manage a high volume of non-procurement contracts in a fast-paced environment, ranging from NDAs, SaaS order forms, sales contracts.
- Assist Legal Department leadership in the allocation and assignment of all matters to members of the Legal Team to maintain orderly workflow.
- Provide additional support on corporate matters, including entity management, annual reporting and corporate records maintenance.
Risk Mitigation & Compliance
- Proactively identify and mitigate contractual risks, preventing potential financial and legal liabilities.
- Ensure contracts are structured to protect the company’s interests, adhering to best practices and industry regulations.
- Assist the team in developing and distributing policies and procedures to address compliance and regulatory risk.
Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years of experience in contract management, procurement, or legal operations.
- Strong expertise in contract negotiation, risk assessment, and compliance.
- Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems and process automation.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating agility and problem-solving skills.

Pay ranges at Yext are established based on an analysis of salaries for positions with a similar level of accountability and impact in the relevant labor market. Salary levels are expected to change to reflect an employee’s job performance (results and impact) over time. Salaries at the time of hire are typically offered in the lower to middle of the above-referenced range in order to provide the opportunity to reflect performance-based increases over time. In addition to base salaries, employees at Yext are typically eligible for a comprehensive package of benefits including medical, dental and vision benefits; life insurance; short term and long-term disability; 401(k) retirement plan; and vacation and sick leave. Successful candidates may also be eligible for equity (stock) based compensation and/or variable pay programs based on performance relative to goals and targets.
Annual Base Pay Range: $105,000 USD - $157,000 USD
