What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Review, process, and negotiate various agreements, including clinical trial and research agreements
- Coordinate and lead negotiations with internal stakeholders, sponsors, and medical partners
- Maintain a database to track the status of contracts and amendments
- Stay updated on policies, laws, and regulations affecting university agreements
- Provide training to faculty and staff on policies and procedures related to agreements
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in research administration, contracting, or related fields within a university, legal, healthcare, or business environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of university and sponsor agency policies and procedures
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work within tight deadlines and interact effectively with diverse groups
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- An advanced degree such as a Master of Science, Master of Business Administration, or Juris Doctor
- Experience with university systems, specifically UAccess Research, or similar systems
