Position Summary

The Contract Administrator role will provide comprehensive global coverage of private and federal and state government opportunity identification; oversees the creation, negotiation, and management of contracts with domestic government agencies; monitors agreement lifecycle, modifications, amendments, and proper approval documentation; and ensures compliance with regulations and policies. Assists with proposal coordination, and provides administrative and business development support, including but not limited to coordinating endeavors within and interfacing with ECRI stakeholders (e.g., IT, finance, sales, SME’s, and others) and non-ECRI stakeholders (e.g., clients, members); and other duties as needed. Will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks at once, exemplary attention to detail, strong business acumen, and adept problem-solving skills. Must have the ability to coordinate with the client throughout the contracting processes to ensure that all requirements, milestones, and timelines are met. The Contract Administrator will foster favorable relationships with existing clients, both internal and external, prepare documents, meet with internal business leaders and subject matter experts, sales team, and other cross functional departments, as necessary.

Essential Functions

Contract Lifecycle Management involved in all stages of a contract's lifecycle, from initial proposal preparation and negotiation to contract administration and closeout. Review and track all stages of a contract from initial proposal preparation and negotiation to deliverables, reporting, and closeout.

Manage the day-to-day administration of contracts, including monitoring performance, tracking progress, and addressing issues that arise. Participate in contract negotiations, working to secure favorable terms and conditions for their organization.

Collaborate with business lines and review contract modifications, including change orders and amendments, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.

Documentation and record keeping maintaining accurate and organized contract records is a crucial aspect of the role. Closing out contracts and oversee final stages, including all deliverables are completed.

Research and identify potential clients or customers for the company’s products or services as part of the pursuit process.

Participate in proposal planning: including participation with the establishment of a proposal schedule, critical pathways, and critical dates and deadlines

Assist with proposal development, specifically managing upkeep of proposal materials, and storage of proposal/contract materials after submission in a timely, accurate, and consistent manner.

Attend and take notes for ECRI and client proposal meetings assigned.

Completes other project coordination duties as assigned by supervisor.

Additional Responsibilities

Search and identify proposal opportunities for global markets including public and private bids.

Identify, review, qualify and quantify opportunities for ECRI’s products and services utilizing designated search engines such as GOVWIN, MERX, Global Tenders, Instrumental, and other search platforms as appropriate.

Create one-pager notification document synthesizing opportunities, analyzing and qualifying capabilities according to internal organization strengths and weaknesses

Qualifications

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

5+ years of experience related to proposal work required, preferably in the healthcare sector.

Bachelor’s degree in administration preferred

Knowledge And/or Experience In The Healthcare Industry Is Preferred.

Strong writing skills able to gather, evaluate, write content, and create narratives with a proven ability to create compelling and persuasive proposals for public and private sectors that adhere to RFXs’ requirements.

Ability to manage competing priorities and ensure that tasks are completed on time and to quality standards.

Experience working collaboratively with interdisciplinary project teams and ability to foster teamwork to set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness.

Advanced analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Education

Bachelor's degree required, Master degree preferred

Position Compensation

The salary range for new employees in this position is $80,088.38 - $90,900.31, based on background, experience, and skills. In addition, new employees in this position are eligible for all of our benefit offerings, including, but not limited to, health and welfare benefits, 403(B) retirement savings, and paid time off (PTO).
