Senior Contract Administrator
Job Title: Contracts Administrator
Location: Remote (U.S. Based)
Industry: Government Contracting / Technology / Professional Services
Pay Rate: $54–$64/hr
Schedule: Part-time, 15–25 hours per week
About the Role:
We're seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contracts Administrator or Contracts Manager to join our team on a part-time, contract basis. This role supports end-to-end contract administration, assists in subcontract negotiations, and helps manage the RFP process, particularly for government projects. It’s ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is well-versed in government contracting regulations, and enjoys working across contract lifecycles and proposal development.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Contract Administration Support
- Set up new customers and vendors in the contract management system
- File and maintain contracts, track deadlines, and monitor compliance
- Utilize contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools
🔹 Subcontract Drafting & Negotiation
- Assist in drafting, amending, and negotiating subcontracts and task orders
- Ensure compliance with government regulations (e.g., FAR, DFARS)
- Support change orders and subcontractor coordination
🔹 RFP Review & Proposal Support
- Review incoming RFPs, particularly those related to consulting or lower complexity services
- Identify and assess contract risks
- (Bonus) Assist in pricing strategies using T&M, fixed-fee, and cost-plus models
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (not required)
- 10+ years in contracts administration, procurement, legal, or government contracting
- Experience analyzing contract terms and identifying compliance risks
- Familiarity with government RFPs and proposal processes
- Bonus: Knowledge of technology licensing, risk management, or insurance programs
Technology Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Teams, etc.)
- Experience with Oracle (for contract tracking or financials)
- Familiarity with Conga or other CLM tools
- Additional technical tools a plus
