Paralegal (New York, New York): Our client, a global asset manager with north of $10B in AUM, is seeking a talented and enthusiastic candidate to join the firm's global legal/compliance in a legal operations/legal analyst capacity. This new hire will report to a senior lawyer and will be a key player in handling a variety of legal tasks and projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of legal operations processes and procedures
• Support the legal team in the formation, structuring, and operation of private investment funds
• Coordinate the drafting, review, and execution of legal documents and agreements including corporate governance and trading counterparty matters
• Handle AML/KYC matters related to setting up new trading relationships and ongoing counterparty management
• Conduct legal research and analysis on various topics as needed

Qualifications

• 2 - 3+ years of experience at a law firm or in-house role within the investment management space
• Bachelors degree
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
