Job Description:

Homestyle Direct is growing and looking for a National Medicaid Contracts Manager to join the team!

The National Contracts Manager will be responsible for the development, implementation, and management of contracts related to our Medicaid programs. You will work closely with government agencies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to ensure contractual compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in the administration of all contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Contract Development:

   · Researching new opportunities for different rules and compliance options as it regards to Home Delivered Meal Programs

   · Oversee the initiation of new contracts including customer outreach, submitting provider applications and other credentialing requirements

   · Assures contractual arrangements meet financial targets and legal/regulatory compliance requirements

   · Works with internal team members to coordinate analytic requirements and other projects impacted by contract negotiations/revenue

  1. Contract Administration:

   · Ensure contracts comply with federal and state regulations, as well as organizational policies.

   · Oversee the administration/negotiation of all contracts.

   · Collaborate with government/healthcare agencies and internal departments to understand contractual requirements

   · Build and maintain strong relationships with all contractual partners

  1. Compliance Monitoring

   · Monitor and ensure compliance with Medicaid regulations and contractual obligations

   · Attend provider trainings periodically

   · Subscribe and review provider bulletins

   · Develop strategies to address potential issues and ensure contract success

   · Complete audits, re-validations, re-credentialing, license renewals, etc. on an as needed basis

   · Ensures contractual language is kept current; evaluate fee schedule on a yearly basis to identify opportunities for additional covered services, medical policy changes and reimbursement

  1. Reporting and Documentation

   · Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of all contracts

   · Prepare regular reports on contract performance and compliance

   · Maintain opportunities and contracts in CRM

   · Provides training and education to practice stakeholders as needed on any payer-related subject

Key Competencies

   · Excellent written and verbal communication skills

   · Strong negotiation skills

   · In depth knowledge of Medicaid as well as Medicare and commercial insurance

   · Demonstrates proficiency with financial reports and modeling

   · Ability to utilize contract management software tools

   · Conflict resolution skills and strong relationship building skills

   · Strong attention to detail

   · Innovative problem solving and strong critical thinking skills

   · Ability to manage multiple complex projects at the same time
