Manager- Legal Operations
Job Description:
Elevate is recruiting a Manager for our Legal Operations team. As a Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining a complete and consistent experience for a large customer which engages in legal operations across multiple workstreams. You will support the existing legal operations team, provide program oversight and management over the services delivered, and ensure quality, timeliness, and continuity is maintained. Successful candidates will have or be able to quickly develop functional expertise across all our Legal Operations services, have experience managing large teams, and be able to maintain a high level of customer service, communication and cultural fit with strategic customers.
Specifically, you will
- Work directly with our customers to develop solutions related to legal spend management, technology implementations, and process improvements.
- Manage the delivery of legal spend management services, and specific attention related to managing escalations and coordinating with our broader legal operations team.
- Work closely with executives of our customer to expand and build a relationship.
- Support our existing team in redesigning and improving processes.
- Support new technology implementations.
- Manage data and reporting for the customer, including budgeting and financial reporting.
- Help identify, design and implement processes and tools for better managing the legal department.
- Assist with various legal ops/admin tasks.
Experience
- 10+ years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal environment involving operations management, pricing, billing, scoping and managing significant legal services.
- Experience managing people.

Technical Skills
- Microsoft Office Suite, specifically advanced knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and conditional formatting.
- Advanced Outlook Skills, including an ability to manage multiple Outlook Calendars across different time zones.
- eBilling software, specifically Team Connect.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Advanced Degree preferred.
Compensation
US national salary range: $90,000 - $130,000, based on job-related skills, experience, level, and location. In addition, Elevate offers full-time employees a comprehensive benefits package and PTO.
