Job Title: Case Manager - First Party Property Litigation - Plaintiff

Position Overview:

As a Legal Case Manager specializing in first party property, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing our client cases from inception to resolution. Your responsibilities will include auditing files, ensuring compliance with legal and procedural standards, and leveraging Litify software to optimize case management processes. This role requires a strong understanding of property law, exceptional organizational skills, and proficiency in Litify.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Case Management: Manage a caseload of first party property cases, including reviewing, organizing, and tracking case progress from start to finish.
  • File Audits: Conduct regular audits of case files to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with legal and procedural requirements.
  • Litify Software: Utilize Litify software for case management, document management, and workflow automation. Ensure that all case-related information is accurately entered and maintained in the system.
  • Client Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing updates, answering questions, and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and other team members to ensure effective case strategy and execution.
  • Documentation: Prepare and manage legal documents, correspondence, and reports related to cases.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to legal procedures and deadlines, and keep abreast of changes in relevant laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in case management, within a law firm specializing in property law or first party property cases.
  • Software Proficiency: Proven experience with Litify software is required. Familiarity with other case management systems is a plus.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Communication: Bilingual in English and Spanish. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and ensuring case success.
