North Dallas Law Firm is seeking to hire a legal assistant in its Personal Injury department. The ideal candidate for this position has a strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic workplace.

​

Key Responsibilities and Job Duties:

​

• Collect, examine, and organize evidence and other legal documents for attorney review and case preparation.  
• Communicate with clients and witnesses to schedule meetings, interviews, and depositions.  
• Manage, organize, and maintain documents in paper and/or electronic filing systems.  
• Preparing a chronology of facts for the case  
• Handle the demands process once it is sent out  
• File the appropriate documents with the court and serve the opposing parties.  
• Request and order medical records and affidavits.  
• Effectively manage all cases, organization reports/trackers, and checklists.  
• Professional demeanor with excellent verbal and written communication skills.  
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook (required).  
• Knowledge of Needles case management software. (required)  
• Excellent customer service skills.
