Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Entry Level Legal Assistant/Administrative Assistant at our headquarters in Atlanta. The role involves providing administrative support to the attorney, firm manager and paralegals. The position will require daily communication and collaboration with the entire team, with insurance companies, other firms and medical providers. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the firm and contributing to the overall success of our clients' cases. Specifically, our legal assistant will manage a variety of tasks such as setting up claims, sending letters of representation, open records requests, balance verifications and general clerical duties. Of preference is someone who is eager to learn and grow within the legal industry. Two years of legal or applicable office experience is required.
Qualifications
- Administrative Assistant and Legal Assistant skills
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and clerical skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Familiarity with legal terminology and processes is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to collaborate and work will with others
- Associate's degree or higher in Legal Studies, Business Administration, or related field is preferred
