The Role:

You will be part of the New York Digital Legal Delivery team, working closely with Senior Managers, Managers, Analysts, Legal Review Attorneys, instructing case teams, and clients as needed.  

The primary responsibility of eDiscovery Specialist will be executing technical solutions in adherence to best practices, administering our in-house discovery platform, and supporting platforms provided by third-party vendors.

Salary:

The salary range for this role is $90-115k. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as education, experience, knowledge and skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Working under the direction of the eDiscovery Senior Manager to identify and understand client needs, assisting with the execution of the recommended technical solutions and supporting with the delivery of an effective solution throughout the life of a matter.

  • Processing data (Relativity processing experience is required)
  • Ingesting/uploading data into Relativity
  • Running searches across Relativity workspaces
  • Creating review batches and coding layouts in Relativity
  • Preparing productions and exports from Relativity
  • Administering Relativity and supporting end-users
  • Maintaining project files including preparing file notes, memoranda, minutes of meetings, instructions, tracking materials, and communications with the legal teams and clients as appropriate.

Qualifications, skills and experience 

Must have 2+ years Relativity or RelativityOne experience servicing internal or external clients, or B.Sc. or B.Tech. degree(s) or equivalent technical, computer science/information technology-based training.

  • Experience supporting document reviews and case work.
  • Strong teamwork Skills and experience working within a team environment.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills, including effective collaboration with case teams, Legal team, and service providers.
  • Flexibility for overtime when needed.
  • Ability to think strategically and ensure that continuous process improvement is formally documented, implemented and disseminated.
  • Industry knowledge or, experience of working in a professional services environment within a technology role would be a distinct advantage, although not essential.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to dealing with multiple projects to very strict deadlines. Able to manage and resolve problems effectively, dealing confidently and concisely with internal stakeholders.
