About the Role:
Our client is seeking an eDiscovery Counsel to join their litigation team. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and problem solver who is passionate about discovery and committed to client success. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and executing complex eDiscovery workflows, including TAR, CAL, and AI-driven processes, and will be eager to leverage emerging technologies to enhance efficiency and defensibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult on complex discovery workflows, from preservation through production, ensuring compliance with case management orders and best practices.
- Design and execute defensible eDiscovery strategies, leveraging Relativity (RCA certified) and other industry-leading platforms.
- Advise case teams and clients on discovery protocols, ESI best practices, and innovative AI-assisted review techniques.
- Interpret and apply case management orders to tailor discovery workflows that align with court directives and client objectives.
- Lead technology-assisted review (TAR/CAL) initiatives, optimizing workflows for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, including AI and advanced analytics, and implement new technologies that enhance eDiscovery processes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with case teams, vendors, and firm leadership to drive best practices and innovation.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering exceptional results under tight deadlines.
Key Qualifications:
- Licensed attorney, admitted to practice in the state where employed.
- Must reside in a state where the firm has an office or tax presence.
- Expert-level proficiency in Excel—must be comfortable with advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data manipulation.
- Experience with TAR, CAL, and AI-assisted workflows in eDiscovery.
- Strong understanding of case management orders and their impact on discovery strategy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, fostering strong relationships within the firm and with clients.
- Passionate about discovery, technology, and client success, with a forward-thinking approach to new tools and methodologies.
