eDiscovery Associate
Preferred Locations:
This position is open to residents of offices in California (Irvine, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose, Walnut Creek), as well as Las Vegas, Phoenix, Seattle, and Portland.
We are in search of a skilled eDiscovery Litigation Attorney to become part of our innovative and dynamic legal team. This role is well-suited for a litigator with 3-5 years of eDiscovery experience, especially in preservation strategies, motion drafting and argumentation, conducting meet and confers, collaborating with experts, and providing client advice. The successful candidate will bring a combination of technical expertise and litigation experience to offer clear, effective solutions in the evolving eDiscovery landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead eDiscovery initiatives and guide client strategy in complex litigation cases.
- Develop and implement strong preservation strategies and handle discovery disputes.
- Draft, file, and argue motions concerning eDiscovery and data management.
- Facilitate meet and confer discussions, collaborating with opposing counsel to resolve discovery-related matters.
- Work alongside technical experts to support client positions in litigation.
- Provide both strategic legal and technical guidance to clients, ensuring alignment between legal goals and technical needs.
- Engage with industry groups and contribute to the development of thought leadership within the eDiscovery field.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of eDiscovery litigation experience.
- In-depth understanding of eDiscovery processes, technologies, and challenges.
- Proven ability to explain complex legal and technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience drafting motions, conducting meet and confers, and offering counsel on eDiscovery matters.
- Affiliation with relevant industry groups or experience in labor and employment law is a plus.
