Director of Operations - Critical Power Business

This role is a Hybrid position and we need someone NORTH CENTRAL USA 

​

Summary:

Leads service projects from start to finish, ensuring timely, on-budget delivery. Manages teams, optimizes processes, mitigates risks, and aligns initiatives with company strategy. Maintains client relationships, enforces safety and compliance, and serves as the primary escalation point for project challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all service projects, ensuring efficiency, quality, and financial performance.
• Standardize project management processes and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage budgets, resource allocation, risk assessments, and performance tracking.
• Lead and mentor project teams and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with leadership on project strategy and execution.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure cross-functional alignment.
• Enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

Required:

• 10 years of industry experience, including 5+ in leadership.
• Strong knowledge of DC/AC power and project management.
• Financial expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Deep understanding of industry regulations and safety standards.

​

Preferred:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Utility Management, or Renewable Energy.
• PMP certification or equivalent.
• Experience with renewable energy, battery storage, and utility-scale projects.

​

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, with travel 1–2 weeks/month.
