Job Summary

The Director of Legal Business Development is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding the company's customer base through strategic partnerships and business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive revenue growth and increase market share
  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities through strategic partnerships, collaborations, and other business development initiatives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including law firms, corporations, and industry partners
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and develop strategies to address them
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to drive business growth and profitability
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and other business metrics to measure performance and optimize business development initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform business development strategies

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with a strong track record of driving revenue growth and expanding customer base
  • Proven ability to develop and execute complex business development strategies and initiatives
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Bachelor's degree in business, law, or a related field; advanced degree or certification preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
