About the Job

The responsibilities of the Contracts & Legal Operations Manager include working closely with the Hexure Legal team and outside commercial counsel, finance, sales, and other internal teams to manage a wide variety of legal technology tools and contracts, with a focus on master agreements, customer and partner scopes of work, and NDAs/confidentiality agreements. Experience with privacy and legal technology operations is strongly preferred.

Deliverables And Performance Measures

  • Oversee the administration and utilization of CLM software and tools to enhance contract tracking, storage, reporting, and analytics
  •  Draft, negotiate and execute a high volume of contracts for Hexure’s clients and vendors
  •  Ensure all contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including data privacy laws, intellectual property rights, and industry-specific regulations
  •  Identify and assess potential legal and commercial risks associated with commercial contracts, providing strategic guidance to mitigate and manage risks effectively
  •  Partner with internal teams to streamline creation of client-facing services statements of work
  •  Efficiently manage and track contracts, including approvals routing, signatures, and archiving
  •  Coordinate with finance, security/compliance and other internal teams, and external parties for contract-related reviews
  •  Train staff on new techniques, best practices, and technologies in the CLM environment
  •  Partner with Salesforce analysts and developers to create and scale technical solutions for integration with CLM tools
  •  Iterate on contract templates for all business units 
  •  Triage and appropriately route requests for legal support from internal teams
  •  Keep track of contract end dates and notify stakeholders in advance
  •  Assist with development of Hexure’s legal processes to enable legal and business functions to scale effectively, without compromising compliance
  •  Monitor contract performance, KPIs, and compliance through the contract lifecycle
  •  Assist in compiling department analytics and reporting on key metrics
  •  Assist with ad hoc legal requests across various legal functions
  •  Coordinate NDA requests, document proofing, intellectual property portfolio support

What Will Make You Successful

  •  2-3 years experience in contract management, and utilization of legal tech and related platforms
  •  Strong working knowledge of legal, business, finance, and accounting terminology
  •  Experience working with Ironclad CLM platform
  •  In-house legal department experience preferred
  •  Strong organizational and time-management skills
  •  Excellent attention to detail
  •  Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  •  Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Expected Hours Of Work

This is a full-time position with regular office hours from Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to support deployments and other work demands.
