We are currently looking for a Contracts Specialist to join our dynamic Bids & Proposals team. In this role, you will report to the Program Manager and play an integral part in managing the full lifecycle of both government and commercial contracts—from solicitation to award.

Responsibilities of the Contract Specialist 

• Manage the full contract lifecycle—from bid to award
• Review and select sales opportunities aligned with company capabilities and market strategy
• Draft and submit compliant, compelling responses to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs
• Navigate US Government bidding and regulatory frameworks, including FARS/DFARS, FATs, and PLTs
• Lead contract negotiations and ensure alignment with company goals and legal standards
• Prepare Truth in Negotiation Act (TINA) packages and lead related compliance efforts
• Submit and manage bid protests when necessary
• Collaborate across departments to develop pricing strategies and submit SAR packages
• Maintain effective contract and commercial governance
• Build strong internal and external relationships to enhance proposal quality and success rate

Requirements of the Contract Specialist

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of relevant experience (engineering, business/marketing, finance, economics, customer service, or account management)
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, CRM, Visio)
• Hands-on experience analyzing and responding to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs
• Familiarity with U.S. Federal Government procurement processes, including DCMA and GSI
• Working knowledge of FAR/DFAR and US export regulations
