Contract Specialist

Job Description:

   Experienced with the generation and administration of government and/or corporate

multi-million-dollar multi-year contracts.

   o Experience in contracting for Information Technology (IT) systems preferred.

   Generates competitive solicitations for multi-year contracts using various solicitation

methods (e.g., Request for Proposal, Invitation to Bid, etc.).

   Generates sole source contracts, as well as the documentation required to support

management approval to award a sole source contract.

   Researches specific markets and industry developments to incorporate into contract

specifications.

   Gathers and analyzes both internal and external information which are used to develop

specifications to support contract generation.

   Solves common problems associated with contract management, including data analysis

and negotiations.

   Conducts ongoing supplier and contract management to ensure supplier and
