Salary: $90,000-$100,000 base with an excellent commission package
A rapidly growing financial services firm specializing in assisting community banks and credit unions with restructuring their contracts with technology suppliers is seeking an experienced Contract Negotiator to join their expanding team.
This is a key position where you'll negotiate business terms, service-levels, pricing details and legal terms found in complex 2-inch thick multi-million dollar, multi-year technology and service contracts.
Key Responsibilities of the Contract Negotiator:
- Negotiate business terms, service-levels, pricing details or legal terms for multi-year tech and service contracts in financial services/community banks industry
- Evaluate client's current invoices and existing contracts to capture relevant business terms, dates and pricing
- Request and evaluate new vendor pricing and contract terms based on client's strategies for vendor selection and unique business needs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by uncovering and analyzing client needs, providing and recommending solutions, and guiding the process with internal key stakeholders to achieve clients' goals and objectives
Key Requirements of the Contract Negotiator:
- Good knowledge and understanding of "core" banking systems, software and services available for the community banks and credit unions markets
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts successfully
- Strong familiarity with business legal concepts and contract management
- Self-motivated and capabale of organizing and prioritizing work to achieve required results
