Contract Manager
A. Construction Contract Management / BID Process
Tasks:
· Identify need for new construction contracts and assist in forecasting procurement needs for A&CM division
· Review contracts to identify need for capacity increases, extensions, and amendments. Initiate process where necessary
· Prepare bid packages and procurement-related documents for construction related contracts, ensuring the inclusion of necessary supporting documentation. Track bid progress and facilitate contract award.
· Update FOP Summary spreadsheet and FOP documents
· Update weekly Summary Reports
· Update monthly reports
· Register construction contracts with Comptroller’s Office
· Assist with preparation of Pre-BID Conferences
· Attend Meetings with Procurement for pending RFQ’s
Required Skills:
· Able to prepare/review construction contract bid documents
· Good organizational skills
· Proficient in excel
B. Professional Services Contract Management /Task Order Processing
Tasks:
· Identify need for new professional services contracts and assist in forecasting procurement needs for division
· Review contracts to identify need for capacity increases, extensions, and amendments. Initiate process where necessary
· Maintain and update tracking reports for capacity, contract extensions, etc.
· Register contracts with the Comptroller’s Office
· Review professional services task orders:
· Check that task order transaction is clearly and correctly described
· Check that cost proposal and proposed services match contract
· Check that all math throughout package is accurate
· Check that all required documentation is included
· Check that all key facts (dates, dollar amounts, etc.) are accurate and match throughout package
Required Skills:
· Knowledge of construction management
· Able to analyze contract language
· Able to review cost proposal
· Good excel skills
· Good organizational skills
· Strong analytical skills
