Contract Employment Counsel

Job Description

A large company in the financial services industry is in search of a full-time employment law attorney. This is a remote role that can be hybrid/in office for attorneys in northern Dallas, TX and the surrounding area who prefer to come to the office. The attorney will primarily be supporting HR on day-to-day employment matters, including performance management, leave of absence, and investigations, as well as handling EEOC and other employment matters.

Job Details:

• Full-time: 40 hours per week  
• Setup: Remote  
• Start Date: As soon as possible  
• Duration: 3-6 months  
• Pay rate: $80-90 hour, depending on seniority and qualifications (anticipated monthly income approximately $13,000-15,000)

Requirements:

• Ability to work independently handling own caseload, advise HR on investigations and day-to-day questions such as leave, termination, performance management; assist with EEOC and other employment matters  
• Experience supporting HR in multiple states; California experience is a plus  
• Active bar in any US state
