Due to tremendous growth at Buckeye Pacific, we are looking for a Compliance Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance of import compliance policies, procedures and process documents
• Identify and support opportunities for improvement in Trade Compliance
• Track, record and review all import documents from mills
• Assist in the management of Import Assessments & Compliance Improvement Plans
• Create and maintain OPCO import records to ensure compliance with all legal requirements and enable timely and efficient audit of all transactions for regulatory compliance
• Build and sustain relationships with mills, traders and the operation team to ensure continuous improvement and success for all parties
• Assist in any other special projects for the Controller, President, or Trade Compliance Manager

Requirements

• High School degree required, Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 2 years of general experience in business, supply chain, procurement, or related field
• Experience in Import Compliance is a plus, but not required for this position
• The ability to identify, acquire, and analyze pertinent data to drive recommendations and decisions
• A detail and process oriented mindset, while possessing excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
