Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Legal Officer to join our executive team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of our legal function. Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal counsel to the executive team and other stakeholders on a wide range of legal issues, including corporate governance, intellectual property, litigation, regulatory compliance, and commercial transactions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain effective legal strategies to minimize risk and maximize business opportunities.
• Oversee the management of all legal affairs, including litigation, contracts, and compliance.
• Lead a team of lawyers and other legal professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and oversight.
• Collaborate with other departments, such asFinance, HR, and Product, to ensure alignment and integration of legal strategies with business objectives.
• Develop and manage the legal department's budget and resource allocation.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in the law and industry trends, and advise the executive team on implications and opportunities.

Requirements

​

• JD or equivalent law degree from a top-tier law school.
• 10+ years of legal experience, including experience as a General Counsel or in a senior legal role.
• Strong knowledge of corporate law, intellectual property law, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful legal strategies.
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with experience leading teams of lawyers and other professionals.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with executives, lawyers, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to think strategically and creatively, and to analyze complex legal issues.
