A company in San Diego is looking for a Contract Manager to join their procurement group! This individual will work with stakeholders to identify business unit needs, create RFPs, negotiate with vendors, do vendor selection and assist in drafting/redlining contracts. They will also process amendments and do additional tactical work. This is a hybrid position, and the individual will need to report onsite 2-3 times per week.
Desired Skills & Experience
- 7 years of directly relevant experience, preferably in category management, strategic sourcing, another procurement-related role, related analytical roles, or through other materials and/or services purchasing experience
- Advanced knowledge of RFPs and MSAs
- Experience sourcing for services, ideally in the facilities space
- Expert in Ariba
- Ability to work onsite in San Diego two or three days a week
